Background Checks

The Rocky Mountain Conference conducts background checks on all lay employees, volunteers working with youth, and child care staff for Annual Conference Session. There is no conference rule or standard regarding background checks by local churches, we strongly recommend that each church establish and follow some process concerning background checks on like persons within the church. Prior to background check you MUST receive in writing the permission of the person. Many different types of checks are possible.
